This Beta cloth PLSS cover, complete with hoses and angle connectors, was probably used for training. It was previously part of the collection of the Space Walk Hall of Fame.
It is an incredible item that seems to be complete, with its NASA patch and Water Reservoir Rechage instructional tag. Having seen these things in countless photos and video, it is fun to own one.
The tag reads:
“Water Reservoir Recharge”
1. PLSS Aux H2O – Open
2. Connect WMS to PLSS H2O Drain
3. WMS Valve – Open
4. LM DES H2O – Open
5. Connect LM H2O to PLSS H2O Fill, Verify Condensate Flow thru WMS Sight Glass
6. Fill for 5 Minutes
7. Connect WMS to PLSS Prime Vent for 10 Seconds
8. Connect WMS to PLSS Aux Vent for 10 Seconds
9. WMS Valve – Close, Stow WMS Hose
10. PLSS Aux H2) – Close
11. Disconnect and Stow. LMH2O Hose

Very interesting to compare the instructions as the one I have has different text alignment, e.g. the title, and point 11: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jurvetson/5867356220/comment72157627038002522
Any thoughts on that? I found this page as I just bought a Cobra Head too, and these posts are adjacent. =)

Hello Steve. Yes, interesting indeed to see the differences. Is yours beta cloth too? I suspect that one is an earlier model than the other.
Nice one on the cobra head. I love mine. It is such an interesting size and shape.
